The tallest building in the whole world is in Dubai and the future tallest building that is said to surpass the current tallest building is also in the middle east (Jordan). It stands at 1972 feet tall with 96 elevators and 120 storeys. Abraj Al-Bait Clock Tower was built on a location where the historic Ottoman Ajyad Fortress stood and the construction of the building started in 2004 and was completed in 2011.
